Where are you located?
Exquisite Corpse Tattoo & Hair Studio is located at 1910 SE 11th Avenue, Suite #100, Portland, OR 97214. The entrance to our studio is at the rear of the building. There is an acupuncture and massage studio upstairs who use the front entrance. We direct our customers to the rear in order to better manage traffic flow and social distancing.
Do you do walk-ins?
We do not take walk-in appointments for hair or tattoos. Appointment only.
Do you have parking?
We are unable to provide on site parking for our clients, but there is plenty of street parking around the studio.
How do I make an appointment with Hang?
You can book hair appointments with Hang and/or add yourself to her waitlist by following this link to her Vagaro page. Hang is currently NOT taking on color clients, which is why this service is not available to select from her service menu.
How do I make an appointment with Tim?
Please direct all tattoo inquiries for Tim through our Contact page. Please include a clear description of the kind of tattoo you are looking for, the size, and the placement on your body. Tim will get back to you as soon as he can. Please be patient if you don’t hear back right away.
How much do you charge for a tattoo?
Tim charges $225/hr for tattooing. There is no charge for tattoo consultations, but in order to set up a tattoo appointment, a $225 deposit will be required. Deposits will be applied to the total cost of the tattoo and is usually applied to the final session of the tattoo.
What can I expect at the tattoo consultation?
Normally tattoo consultations take between 60-90 minutes. During the consultation, we will discuss the size, placement and style of your tattoo, as well as take any necessary photos or tracings of the area to be tattooed. You are encouraged to bring reference pics if you have them, but it is not required. At the end of the consultation it is normal to take a deposit in order to schedule a date to get tattooed. If you cannot leave a deposit at your consultation, no drawings or scheduling can be done until one is received.
What does a tattoo deposit cover?
A deposit is taken in order to schedule a tattoo appointment start date and to have preparatory drawings done. Deposits are non-refundable, but are applied to the cost of the final tattoo. In the event of a appointment no-show or last minute cancelation, deposits may be forfeited at the discretion of the tattoo artist. Please give your artist at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule.
How do I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
The best way to prepare yourself for getting a tattoo is to get a good nights sleep and to have a good breakfast before you come to the shop, Do not stay up all night partying or drinking because it is no fun to get tattooed hung over. Please feel free to bring snacks drinks with you for while you are getting tattooed just in case you need them. We do have coffee, tea, and a variety of snacks at the shop in case you forget.
How do I care for my new tattoo?

What is your Covid-19 Policy?
Masks are required at all times in Exquisite Corpse Tattoo & Hair Studio and temperature checks will be given at the door before entry. If you don’t have an appropriate mask, we will provide one for you.
